At KSD Decorating Services Ltd we recognise that our business operations can have a harmful effect on the local and global environment. We are therefore committed to maintaining and improving our environment by putting in place procedures that will help us reduce our impact.  

Day to day operations impact the environment in a number of ways. We are committed to managing these increasing our positive environmental contribution while reducing negative impacts. We shall:

• Clearly understand our environmental impacts and where we can influence them
• As a minimum, comply with relevant legislation. Where no regulation exists we shall set the standards, in line with good environmental practice
• Integrate environmental management into day-to-day operating procedures and communicate effectively with staff to facilitate this
• Include environmental awareness initiatives in our work with clients

Behaving responsibly is important to us and we are very aware that, as an independent regional contractor we pride ourselves on our interaction with the local community and economy. Our offices in the New Forest, and at Fareham & Bristol, where possible employ staff from the local surrounding areas. Likewise our decorating operatives are matched where possible to contracts that are as close as practical to their own homes. This not only allows us to provide valuable local economic support but allows us to reduce our environmental impact.
